Somebody Cares
One of the Core Values at Somebody Cares is to direct resources to the organizations, churches and ministries in an area, as they already have a heart for and know the community. When the other organizations leave, these local leaders are still left with the long-term journey of healing and rebuilding.
That is why we are committed to doing what we can to keep as much attention on the long-term empowerment of the local partners. We are working with those who have already given their hearts and time to serve the Japanese people. Our Somebody Cares team in on-the-ground connecting with those individuals and organizations who are working in Japan.

World Relief
In the end, we are committed to what we do bestdoing in Japan what we have been doing for the past 67 yearsempowering the local church to meet the needs of the most vulnerable. We are fortunate to have like-minded partners on the ground, like the Japanese Evangelical Alliance, with whom we can support churches as they reach out to those on whom this tragedy has taken a terrible toll.
Donations we raise will be going to our Japanese partners to support the efforts of local churches. You can confidently direct people who want to be part of this effort to World Relief. We will see to it that their money is wisely spent to help those who are suffering.
